Parish services or ministries
Eucharistic ministers, CCD teachers and coordinators, Hospitality, Lectors. Prayer line callers, Prayer station, Circle of prayer, Prayer list, Petitions book in vestibule of church, Cards for sympathy and get-well. A weekly update of the Prayer List is published and distributed at the weekly meeting. There are generally about 150 names and petitions on the prayer list.
Community services
Some members are in the cancer and/or bereavement support groups. Some are in the homebound ministry. Some are in outside rosary groups.
Additional Activities:
Inside: Activities such as hosting a Life In the Spirit Seminar and Basic Christian Maturity Seminar. These are usually held in our parish center.
Outside: Activities involving some, many or most of the regular prayer meeting attendees in the past few years have taken several forms:
· Retreat days or weekends at one or more retreat centers in the near New England States region.
· Day trips, e.g. to Holliston MA; Precious Blood Chapel in Manchester NH.
· Life in the Spirit Seminars or Basic Christian Maturity Seminars offered by other prayer groups in the Area.
· Regional attendance at the Charismatic Conference in Lowell.
· Attendance on occasion at the National Charismatic Conference, held yearly in various parts of the country.
