Dear God:

I am the parent of three daughters, ages 18, 16 and 10 years. I also pray
daily for some of their friends, kids who are special to me. I pray for
their purity in their relationships and that God will show them why his way
of doing things is the right way. Our world teaches our children immoral
ways. I am only one person in a very large influential world. Also,
teenagers are hard to talk to. Hounding them and pestering them drives them
away - then you have nothing to work with. Sometimes I feel that my hands
are tied and my only tool is prayer. Prayer for them. They do not see the
big picture yet because they are young. They do not appreciate things as we
do when we are older. So, I pray Lord  that You will answer my prayers for
them and intervene in their lives. Please send the Holy Spirit to speak into
their hearts - give them the strength to rise above the immoral values
presented to them by friends, media, etc. Give them the wisdom to know the
difference between just falling in love and knowing who you are really meant
to be with in marriage. Give them the strength to face the pressures of sin
and of the world. I ask that You keep me and my special children in Your
Grace.
